Migration (SEAM) Framework and tools help clients move existing
ERP applications and business processes to Oracle E-Business Suite
Release 11i.
SEAM addresses the growing need of enterprise application networks
to migrate data across different applications, protocols, and
proprietary data structures. SEAM provides a user-friendly and
system-independent framework for migration.
The versatility of the SEAM Migration Framework is the reusable
component framework that is independent of both the legacy
application/ ERP and the target modules of Oracle E-Business Suite
11i.
The physical movement of the data occurs through a data migration
process known as extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
The SSC Enterprise Application Migration (SEAM) toolkit is used to
extract data, transform it for validation in tables, and then load
the validated data into the Oracle applications.
SEAM provides Oracle e-Business suite implementers the tool for

Upgrade Assessment Services for Oracle E-Business Suite
Upgrading, from the prior releases to
the latest release of Oracle Applications R11i, requires a major
revamp of the technology used and the functionality. It is
important to have a clear road map and a project plan for your
upgrade to 11i. Since every upgrade is different depending upon
the environment setting, extent of customization, and the
requirement to implement new and advanced features, no generic
