RIYADH _ Fresh from a five-day on-site tour, a four-man delegation from the Saudi National Guard Printing Press (SNGPP) has recently arrived from Gent, Belgium, headquarters of Esko-Graphics Company.

Saudi Systems Corporation (SSC) sponsored the business trip headed by Dr. Salah Al-Obaidi, SSC Vice-President for Systems Integration.

The four SNGPP senior staff members are as follows: Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Humyad, Jamal M.F. Al-Ghashayan, Khalid Ahmed Al-Khirat and Abdulrahman A.N. Dhuwayan.

The delegation had the opportunity to view personally how a Computer-to-Plate (CtP) system works. CtP is one of the recent innovations in pre-press technology. Also, a presentation and live trial runs of the system have been conducted in their presence.

The delegation, in an end-user’s point of view, had the chance to clear their queries about the system as Esko-Graphics experts provided them with comprehensive responses to their questions.

Apart from SNGPP’s on-site tour, SSC took the opportunity to establish formally its business relationship with Esko-Graphics, the resulting company between the merger of Purup-Eskofot and Barco GraphicsPrior to the merger, SSC has been an official vendor-partner of Purup-Eskofot.

Accordingly, a certificate of authorization signed by the president and the vice-president for sales and services was awarded by Esko-Graphics to SSC. With this, SSC is the sole reseller of Esko-Graphics products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
