This project is for the creation of a geographical information
system for the Saudi Electricity Company for the Electrical
Network for the City of Riyadh. The project includes the creation of
a computer-based database of all its transmission and distribution
networks. The project includes the following major activities:
• Mapping data capture
• Supply, installation and operation of GIS hardware and software
• Consulting study
• Systems design and development
• Systems integration and data migration
• Support and maintenance
Similar implementation is expected to be rolled out in other parts
of the Kingdom.
